COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Aevolo is excited to welcome Fernando Islas Lopez on to the team for the 2018 season. Islas is not only the current Mexican time trial and road race national junior champion, he also finished first in the time trial at the 2017 Pan American Games and second in the road race.

Islas continued to notch impressive results this season, placing second overall at the Tour L’Abitibi and winning the time trial.

“I hope with Aevolo to learn a lot and grow as a cyclist and person, and to be able to help as much as possible to the objectives of the team, and of course if they ask me, to be able to delivery some victories,” said 18-year-old Islas.

Islas joins the team from Tepeapulco, Mexico.
