HOEHN ON BOARD FOR 2018

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Aevolo is excited to welcome Alex Hoehn to the team for the 2018 season. The talented 19-year-old is also a full-time student at Colorado Christian University and in his third year of racing.

In 2017, Hoehn raced in the Tour of Utah as the youngest in the race, placing 38th overall and 12th American. He also claimed a top 10 finish in the Tour of Taiwan (2.1), and wore the leaders jersey at the Chico Stage Race, finishing on the podium.

“My personal goals are to consistently compete for top ten overall on the American stage race calendar," Hoehn said. “I would like to help Aevolo become the premier U-23 pro team in the country and in the world. I cannot wait to bond with my teammates and am super excited to be on a professional team with similar aged athletes.”

Hoehn is originally from Lenexa, Kansas and trains in Boulder, Colorado. Prior to bike racing, he played hockey for 13 years and became a full-time AAA hockey player in his teens earning multiple league championships.
