BICKMORE SIGNS WITH AEVOLO

October 7th,  2018

Aevolo is pleased to announce collegiate track national omnium champion, Cade Bickmore, has joined the U23 team for the 2019 season. Originally from Tucson, Arizona, Bickmore currently attends Marian University and studies mechanical engineering.

“I am really excited to be joining the team this season,” Bickmore said. “I see it as a big opportunity and want to make the most of it. I am joining a really good bunch of guys with a good range of strengths and that diversity of rider types will make us a threat in any race we do.”

Previously a part of the Mudskippers, Flatiron Flyers, Boulder Junior Cycling and Groove Subaru/Excel Sports, Bickmore excels as a sprinter and power rider. The 20-year-old proved his proficiency this past summer, winning the collegiate track scratch race championship and retaining his title in the 1km individual pursuit.

Bickmore said he’s excited to be reunited with Gage Hecht, who is returning to Aevolo for 2019.

“We were on Mudskippers together more than a decade ago, and have been friendly foes ever since,” Bickmore said. “I bring some speed to the table and a lot of years of experience, so I hope I get the opportunity to finish some races. I would be really stoked to get a Pro Road Tour win this year. I am also ready to light up some races and chase some moves for the other boys. It is a team sport; if any of us come away with a big result, it is a good day.”
