SHEEHAN TO RIDE FOR AEVOLO IN 2019

Aevolo is excited to announce 2017 and 2018 Tour de L’Abitibi winner, Riley Sheehan, has joined the U23 team for the 2019 season. From Boulder, Colorado, Sheehan is a recent graduate of Boulder High School.
"I love to train in Boulder," Sheehan said. "My favorite place to ride is easily the Peak to Peak Highway which is just up one of the awesome canyons from Boulder. The road is smooth, not too much traffic and it’s at 8000 to 9000 feet. However, I am looking forward to exploring the world for new favorite places to ride."
Sheehan excels at time trials and field sprints. Most recently, his talent shone in the US Junior National Championships where he picked up national titles in the individual time trial and criterium. However, the 18-year-old said he's hoping to improve his GC abilities while wearing the Aevolo colors.
"I really want to test the waters up in the pro ranks and see what I can do to help the team in the races," Sheehan said. "As a first year U23, I want to do as many races as I can and gain as much knowledge and experience about racing and training."
