Caleb Classen rounds out the podium with 3rd. The Aevolo riders now sit 6th & 7th on Overall GC.

Here is Toby’s report: "Alright here is the lowdown: Going into the queen stage the plan for the team was to have Sean Christian in the break getting sprint classification points and to have me and Caleb in the best possible position going into the climb to the summit finish. Sean seamlessly got into a group of 17 riders up the road and Brooks and Quinn were the best road shepherds one could ask for in the peloton. Over the majority of the stage, they kept me and Caleb towards the front and well fed. Going into the false flat 10km run into the climb, they were shielding me from the wind and sweeping our wheels. Just before the narrow entrance to the climb, I launched into the top 10 wheels and never looked back. The climb was exposed and quite hot with many tight turns. Slowly the group reduced from 30-20-15-10 and finally 7. After some failed surges and attacks by a Finisher rider, With 2km to go an Eolo-Kometa rider attacked, gaining 5 seconds on the bunch. Around 400m from the top of the climb I launched an attack, gaining space on the bunch and closing the gap in the flat 1.5km to the finish. With 500m to go, I sprinted away from my Eolo compatriot to solo into the finish. This was truly a class team effort. With the full support over the 160km stage, the range of factors needed to pull something special like this off wouldn't have collided. I really can't express it in words but THANK YOU."
